A Ukrainian drone has struck Grozny, the capital of Russia’s southern Chechnya area, and triggered civilian casualties, state information company RIA quoted Chechen chief Ramzan Kadyrov as saying on Wednesday.
Kadyrov mentioned the drone had struck the roof of a constructing housing a particular police regiment. There have been no particulars on the variety of casualties and whether or not he was referring to deaths or accidents.
Kadyrov has been a vocal supporter of Russia’s conflict in Ukraine, to which he has contributed Chechen forces.
