The Chakan MIDC hearth brigade rescued two individuals trapped inside a car that acquired crushed in an accident involving a tempo truck, a lorry and a container truck at Shel Pimpalgaon village on the Chakan-Shikrapur highway early on Saturday.
Vishal Shriram Kaldate and Vaibhav Rajendra Kaldate, each residents of Jamkhed in Ahmednagar district aged round 25, have been taken to a hospital and supplied remedy. The police have launched a probe.
Police rushed to the spot after receiving details about a multi-vehicle collision close to SK Resort in Shel Pimpalgaon round 5.30 am.
Officers knowledgeable the Chakan MIDC police station that two males have been caught contained in the tempo truck that suffered heavy damages within the accident. A workforce comprising Assistant Hearth Officer Rajesh Pharande, and firemen V A Pawar, V V Khedkar, S A Kulal and L H Kachare rushed for assist.
“Two males have been caught inside the motive force’s cabin. We rescued the injured individuals by reducing the tempo truck utilizing a hydraulic cutter and different tools. The rescue operation lasted about an hour,” stated Pharande.
