Junior docs in Kolkata hit the streets on Tuesday over the reinstatement of Avik De and Birupaksha Biswas within the West Bengal Medical Council.
The duo was beforehand ousted for allegedly selling a tradition of intimidation and corruption within the medical schools amid the protest over the rape and homicide of a junior physician at Kolkataâs RG Kar Hospital.
West Bengal Medical Council president Sudipta Roy and vice-president Sushant Roy stated the 2 had been rightly ordered to steer clear of the councilâs work. âSince no written criticism was filed towards them and their names weren’t talked about within the CBI chargesheet, the choice was withdrawn,â they stated.
