England sealed a 3-1 win Sunday (November 17, 2024) in its Twenty20 collection towards West Indies when the fifth and ultimate match was deserted after 5 overs due to rain.

West Indies reached 44-0 on the finish of the fifth over after shedding the toss when torrential rain started to fall. Evin Lewis was 29 not out and Shai Hope on 14.

With no hope of the rain abating and the outfield already soaked, the umpires made the choice to name off play about 6:15 p.m. native time with no end result.

England gained the primary three matches of the collection by eight wickets, seven wickets and three wickets respectively. West Indies gained the fourth match on Saturday by 5 wickets in a document run chase.

The house group beforehand gained the one-day worldwide collection 2-1. All seven accomplished matches have been gained by the group that gained the toss and batted second.
