Colleges and schools in Manipur’s Imphal Valley will stay closed until November 23 for the security of the scholars, in keeping with official notifications issued on Wednesday.
Colleges and schools within the 5 Valley districts — Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal, Bishnupur and Kakching — have been shut on November 16 amid contemporary tensions within the state following the violence in Jiribam district.
Each state-run and personal colleges and schools will stay closed in the course of the interval, the notifications stated.
