Unlawful immigration is a safety menace for the European Union and the bloc should shield its borders from the menace posed on this respect by Russia and prison organisations, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni stated on Sunday.
“Tackling the problem of unlawful immigration solely on a solidarity foundation debate was a mistake for my part,” Meloni advised a press convention after an EU summit on safety in Finland.
“The result’s that we have now been unable to guard our borders … We need to defend our exterior borders and we won’t permit Russia or prison organisations to undermine our safety.”
